The Industrial Fabrics component of the GIF division utilizes Layfield's geotechnical fabrication facility to manufacture stock and custom products to required specifications. Industrial Fabrics encompasses a broad product mix including, but not limit to, tarpaulins, enclosure systems, insulated blankets, pile covers, curtains, turf covers, and portable shelter covers. Products are fabricated from reinforced polyethylene (RPE®) and nylon reinforced vinyl (NRV) materials commonly utilized in commercial and industrial applications throughout North America.
